App Store rating request

Ask your users to rate your app on the iOS App Store.

The iOS Apps Panel SDK helps you getting ratings on the App Store by automatically displaying a prompt, according to the parameters you have set in the back office.

iOS version up to 10.2.1

An alert view is displayed, with the text and options you entered in the back office. If the user note the app or tap on the never option, the popin will never be displayed again.

Different options, like how many time the user should launch the app before the popping is displayed, or the delay before displaying the popping once the app is opened, are available on the back office. For documentation about these options, see Config.

iOS 10.3 and newer

In iOS 10.3, Apple introduced a new way to deal with App Store rating prompts. This new way is implemented within the SDK, and is also based on the configuration you set on the back office. The only parameter taken into account is the delay before displaying the popin once the app is opened. The frequency is managed by the Apple iOS SDK.

With the new way introduced by Apple, the user can choose to disable totally App Store rating prompts. Moreover, there will be no more than 3 popins displayed in a year.
